 Traveling to Wolfstein:

 If you arrive at the airport in Frankfurt, there is access to a train station (Bahnhof) from the airport.     

 You can catch the train to Kaiserslautern and get a connection north to Wolfstein.  Go to the  

 Deutsche Bahn website at: http://www.bahn.de/p/view/index.shtml

 We will have a vehicle running people from the Wolfstein bahnhof to the Hostel.  It will be waiting at 

 the bahnhof at the scheduled arrival times.  The parking lot outside the bahnhof is rather small.  

 Look for someone wearing a Sembach H3 shirt.

 If you arrive early or late, the following are the walking directions to the hostel:

 Take a left out of the bahnhof & head 0.3 km west on Bahnhofstraße/K48 toward  

 Bahnhofstraße/L384.

 Turn left at Bahnhofstraße/L384 Continue to follow Bahnhofstraße 0.1 km.

 Slight left at Am Ring for 69 m.  Then turn left at Hauptstraße for 26 m.

 Turn right at Im Tauchental for 0.1 km.  Turn left at Rötherweg for 0.6 km to the Hostel.

 If you arrive at the Frankfurt-Hahn airport, you must take a bus from the airport to reach a Bahnhof.   

 There are several choices.  It might be easiest to go to Saarbruecken & catch the train direct to 

 Kaiserslautern, for the connection north to Wolfstein.  For more information, go to the airport

 If you are Driving:  Make your way to Rheinland-Pfalz & take the A6 autobahn to Kaiserslautern.  

 Take exit 15 onto the B270 & go north.  It is about 22 km/14 miles to Wolfstein.  Leave the B270 &

 turn left onto Schwanenhof prior to entering Wolfstein village. 

 Stay on Schwanenhof for approximately 214 meters.  Look for signs for the Jugendherberge & the  

 Hash True Trail signs.  You will leave Schwanenhof & go straight onto Rötherweg.  Continue on for

 1196 meters & you will have arrived at the Hostel.
