Volunteer to have your cabin in the Pub Crawl. Each Cabin will make a drink that we can all try, and we will vote on the winner! The winner gets the honor of being the Creator of the Sembach Down Down Drink, PLUS you get to name it!
**This information is straight from the venue and probably contains more information than is needed**
How do I get to the venue?
Coordinates for GPS/navigation devices: N49° 08.946 E007° 53.959
At the Karlsruhe motorway junction, take the Karlsruhe-Mitte exit. Continue towards Landau/Saarbrücken on the A65 until the Kandel-Nord exit. From there, continue to Winden/Bad Bergzabern (towards Pirmasens). In Bad Bergzabern, continue towards Dahn/Birkenhördt. Shortly after leaving Birkenhördt, turn half-right towards Vorderweidenthal. Drive approximately 3 km through the forest until you reach a T-junction – turn left here towards Vorderweidenthal. After approximately 1 km, turn right towards Lindelbrunn. Past the elevation sign, you will arrive at the Forsthaus/Cramerhaus (restaurant). At the intersection (there is also a parking lot), turn right onto the forest path for approximately 2 km – then the Lindelbrunn log cabin village is on the right.
Visitors are asked to park their vehicles at the Forsthaus forest car park, as only a limited number of parking spaces are available (approximately 10). You can drive everything up to the venue, drop off, and then repark if needed.
RVs can drive to the car park (elevation sign 344 m) with our special permit – please request this from the SJR in advance if necessary.
A direct approach via Gossersweiler is not possible, as traffic here is only permitted for forestry and agricultural purposes.
General Information
The JFS Lindelbrunn is a self-catering facility. The leaders of the activities are fully responsible for their use and any damage. We therefore urge you to treat the facilities with care, as other groups will also want to use Lindelbrunn after you. And remember, leave the recreation center as you would like to find it!
Friendly Warnings from the Venue
– If cleaning is inadequate after occupancy and the SJR is forced to perform special cleaning, the resulting costs will be invoiced to the tenant.
– The tenant is liable for any damage caused during their stay. Taking out appropriate event organizer liability/liability insurance is strongly recommended.
– The SJR assumes no liability for damage or loss resulting from force majeure.
– Animals are not permitted or allowed in buildings or cabins.
– Tents can be set up in the surrounding outdoor area. If you plan on tenting, please contact the End-of-Summer Misman in advance.
Heating
The huts are heated by electric fans. Please ensure that no clothing is hanging over them (fire hazard). When the group leaves camp for day hikes, the hut heaters must be turned off!
The main buildings (rooms, restrooms, and hall) are centrally heated. The heating is very warm; normally, setting 3 on the controls is sufficient. Try it for yourself!
Please note during your stay:
Always bring and use fitted sheets – even when using sleeping bags!
Please note that fires and smoking are strictly prohibited in the buildings and the forest.
Do not bring mattresses, tables, and chairs from the hall outside. Beer sets are welcome.
Please stack them neatly after use or upon departure and cover them to protect them from the weather.
